1st year Finance Major & International Business Minor Hello! My name is Avni, I am a first-year finance major, and I am minoring in international business. I joined UBWA because I enjoyed the idea of being a part of a community of women who all have similar interests. I am excited to be a part of the DEI committee and have an active part in making UBWA an inclusive and welcoming community! Ava Nguyen 1st year Business Economics Major & Public Policy Minor I joined UBWA to surround myself with women with similar interests as me and grow professionally! In my free time, I like to crochet, hang out with friends, and listen to music. I am excited to share what DE&I means to me with my committee! Brinda Grama 3rd year Finance Major & Computer and Information Science Minor Hello all! I’m Brinda Grama, a junior majoring in Finance and CIS, I love trying out different teas and tea cultures, reading, and making ceramics. DEI is very excited to broaden the topics covered and provide insights to more niche and underrepresented events. Anna Chen 1sy year Marketing & Psychology Majors Hi! I'm Anna and I'm from Athens, Ohio. I love playing tennis with friends, and I also am a huge movie watcher - big Marvel and Harry Potter fan! Other than UBWA I am also involved in the Taiwanese-American Student Association as the marketing chair! This year with the DEI committee and UBWA in general I hope to work with as many peers as possible and learn about how to successfully set myself up for the future. Jackie Grant 1sy year Economics Major & Philosophy | Spanish Minors Hi everyone, I'm Jackie! I'm so excited to be part of the DE&I Committee and I'm looking forward to all the fun activities we're planning for the Spring semester. I love doing yoga or going for a run outside. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling to new places, forever on the hunt for the best cup of coffee :) |
