1st year Finance Major & Real Estate | Studio Art Minors Hi, I'm Erin! I'm a first-year honors student from New Jersey with a major in finance. Around campus, I'm involved in Buckeye Capital Investors and Meditation Club, but when you can't find me in meetings, I'm probably working out at the RPAC. I'm so excited to be part of the blog committee— I can't wait to give back not only in terms of the annual gala's philanthropic goal, but also to UBWA, which has given me a community of strong women that I'm proud to be a part of. Sarah Hasan 3rd year Human Resources Major & Sociology Minor Apart from UBWA I am involved in the Human Resources Association and the Law and Society Scholar's Program. Some interesting facts about me are that I like to play tennis and my birthday is on April Fool's Day! To me UBWA represents an opportunity to meet other women who have similar goals and aspirations as me. We as women often have to face more obstacles than we should, and coming together as a community helps us break those barriers. As a part of the gala committee I am excited to bring together such an immense and fun event for the common good. Marissa Allen 3rd year Logistics Management Major Hi everyone! My name is Marissa Allen, and I am a third year majoring in Logistics Management. I am originally from Jackson, WY then attended high school in Cincinnati, OH. During my free time, I enjoy working out, drawing, and being outdoors. Through UBWA I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people while growing professionally and personally. I am really excited to plan and fundraise for this year's gala! Claudia vanHuffel 3rd year International Business Major & Communitions | Hospitality Management Minors Hi, my name is Claudia VanHuffel and I am a third-year international business major minoring in both hospitality management and communications. I am the Director of Community Outreach for UBWA which means I have the pleasure of working with our philanthropy committee and assisting in planning UBWA's annual charity gala. Having grown up right outside of Columbus, I've always been a huge OSU fan and love being part of a student organization that gives back to our surrounding buckeye community. |
